Utilizing Computer Aided Design (CAD) software, the full-time VDC Pipe Designer will model, coordinate, and prepare detailed drawings for mechanical systems, with the potential for fully remote work for the right experienced candidate. Key responsibilities Generate mechanical pipe models based on project specifications, design drawings, and control diagrams Incorporate updates to drawings and models while collaborating with the design team to eliminate construction errors Manage multiple projects and communicate information for Requests for Information (RFIs) specific to the projects and trade Required qualifications 2-5 years of experience in mechanical piping and process pipe trade or 5+ years of BIM experience using Revit, Fabrication of CAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision while following written and oral instructions Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail Must adhere to all company policies and procedures Availability to work assigned schedules
