Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services in multiple school settings within the Portland, OR area. This contract role offers opportunities to work across various campuses, including middle school, elementary, and specialized instructional programs, with flexible scheduling options.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering speech and language therapy to students ranging from elementary to high school age.
  • Providing assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication development.
  • Managing caseloads across multiple sites, including Mountainside High School (0.5 FTE), Findley Elementary (0.6 FTE), and ISC programs at several schools.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience with school-aged populations preferred, with flexibility for candidates ranging from entry-level (0-2 years) to seasoned professionals (10+ years).
  • Ability to work onsite at assigned locations within the Beaverton/Portland area.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively manage caseload responsibilities.
