The role of Tree House brewing Company Events Security involves ensuring the safety and well-being of attendees, staff and property during events, including monitoring, entrances and exits, patrolling the venue, providing crowd control, and responding to emergencies.

This position is Seasonal (see link below for schedule) and will primarily report into our Deerfield, MA location as well as potentially satellite parking lot/event areas.

The starting base rate for this position is $24/hour. Compensation is only one component of the total rewards package, as this role is eligible for participation in the company bonus program and a robust perks package.

As Events Security, you are responsible for the following:

• Checking IDs and tickets credentials to verify authorized access within the facilities
• Monitoring entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized Entry and Exit
• Screening individuals and belongings for prohibited items
• Assisting with event set up and teardown
• Coordinating with emergency services and other relevant personnel
• Providing customer service and answering questions from attendees
• Enforcing event rules and regulations
• Protecting company assets, and preventing theft or damage through an observe and report process
• Security personnel will also be required in the event of an emergency to staff and manage specific locations within the venue designated as emergency shelter
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service to team members, guests, and other members of the public
• Communicate clearly and concisely with our guests, Tree House personnel, and third party vendors as to the situation as it arises
• Coordination with Emergency Services personnel in regards to next steps or actions required in the event of non-medical emergencies
• Monitoring and managing the safety of our overall grounds/facilities for all attendees
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned by management

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year's experience in law enforcement, military, or as a Security Guard, Security Officer or another similar role required
• Must be 18+ years of age or older at time of application
• Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift in excess of 50 lbs. as necessary to perform required tasks as assigned throughout the workday.
• This role requires you to stand the majority of your shift and work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• A quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervision
• Ability to multitask and work coolly and professionally in all situations
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be punctual and responsible with one's time
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
