We’re seeking a hands‑on, forward‑thinking SEO leader to own and elevate the organic search strategy across our home service brands – Pool Scouts, Home Clean Heroes, and Wonderly Lights. This role is perfect for someone with strong SEO expertise who enjoys guiding strategy, mentoring specialists, collaborating with franchise owners, and shaping how our brands show up across hundreds of local markets. Key Responsibilities: SEO Leadership: Own the organic search strategy (technical, content and local SEO) for national and local franchise websites. Monitor and improve performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, BrightLocal, and other tools. Provide detailed, high‑level reports on organic performance to the executive team. Team Management & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth. Provide direction on priorities, workflows, and timelines. Drive Insights and Improvements: Conduct keyword research, identify new opportunities, and oversee technical SEO audits. Analyze performance and translate data into clear, actionable recommendations for both marketing leadership and franchise owners. Franchisee & Stakeholder Relations: Serve as a key strategic partner to franchise owners, guiding them on their local SEO and content strategies. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including paid media, creative, and brand management, to ensure cohesive execution across channels. Content Strategy: Oversee content planning for blogs, landing pages, and website updates to support SEO goals and brand voice. Industry Expertise: Stay on the cutting edge of the SEO landscape, including algorithm updates, AI‑driven search enhancements, and new tools or techniques. Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new strategies to maintain a competitive advantage. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree; Marketing, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years of hands‑on SEO experience (agency or multi‑location experience is a plus). Management of direct reports highly desired. Strong understanding of technical SEO, local SEO, keyword research, and content optimization. Experience with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, BrightLocal, GA4, GSC, and WordPress. Ability to think strategically and translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members – formal management experience is a plus, but not required. Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
