Summary of Functions: Serves and assists patrons concessions for all Qlispe Raceway Park functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Prepares, sells, and serves food and beverage to patrons in concessions stand.
- Communication with cooks relaying food usage and quality control.
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils, segregates, and removes garbage.
- Provide constant, attentive and friendly service to all guests, greet guests in appropriate manner.
- Serve beverages according to Mandatory Alcohol Service Training (MAST) guidelines.
- Occasionally clears dirtied dishes and garbage to maintain the cleanliness of the concession stand.
- Prepare Raceway Concessions as needed in preparation for the event.
- Complete all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all Raceway events and service stations.
- Maintains clean and stocked food and beverage stations.
- Accurately operate a cash register.
- Correctly perform all necessary paper and bookwork at shifts end.
- Attend all training meetings.
- Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for business levels.
- Stores food safely in designated areas.
- May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Board Process.

Supervisory Responsibilities
- This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements / Qualifications - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one to three months related experience and/or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working as a cashier or waiter/waitress preferred.
- Must possess excellent customer relations and customer service skills.
- Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
Certifications - Mandatory Alcohol Service Training (MAST) certification. - must obtain within 60 days of start date.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Tribal Work Permit.
- Washington State Food Handler Permit. - must obtain within 14 days of start date.
- Hepatitis A vaccination.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The worker is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions, which provide protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is often subject to outside environmental conditions and to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is often high.
