Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

This facility is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
· Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. in-house, then phone support 8:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m. 24-hour call structure
· Total census per provider per shift: Daily census: 5–12
· Procedures required: Neonatal intubations prior to transfer with temporary ventilator management, Umbilical lines, Lumbar punctures, Sedations in the Emergency Department if performing procedures
· Support: Nursery/step-down NICU nurses, Certified pediatric nurses, Pediatric surgeon, Respiratory therapists, rad techs, ultrasound techs, ER nurses, ER techs
· Certifications and license required: Must have an active Georgia medical license, active Georgia DEA, must be Board Certified in Pediatrics, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
· Credentialing timeframe: Must be clean for quick credentialing
