Our client is a family-owned and operated construction company based in Hayti, South Dakota, with more than 40 years of experience in the construction industry. They have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality craftsmanship and reliable service across a wide range of construction projects.

The company provides turnkey construction solutions, handling projects from the ground up. Their capabilities include dirt work, concrete, pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs), framing, and additional construction services, allowing them to support clients through multiple phases of the building process.

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Framer to join a growing construction team in the Hayti, South Dakota area. This role is critical to the structural phase of construction, where precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will have hands-on framing experience and the ability to read plans, work collaboratively with crews, and ensure projects are built to high standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Frame walls, floors, and roofs using a variety of tools and construction techniques
• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans to ensure accurate execution
• Maintain a high level of quality and craftsmanship on all framing work
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure work is completed on schedule and within project scope
• Inspect framing structures for accuracy, durability, and compliance with plans
• Repair or adjust framing as necessary to maintain structural integrity and project standards
• Maintain a safe and organized job site

Qualifications

• 3+ years of framing experience in residential or commercial construction
• Strong proficiency with framing tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building plans
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
