Steven McIntosh State Farm is growing, and we’re looking for a Sales Team Member to join our high-energy, supportive agency in Parma, Ohio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, learning valuable financial skills, and earning income based on performance — not seniority.
Position Overview
As a Sales Team Member, you’ll work directly with customers to identify their insurance and financial protection needs while helping our agency continue its strong growth in the community. This is not a call-center environment. We focus on meaningful conversations, education, and long-term relationships.
Responsibilities
Develop relationships with new and existing customers
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
Quote and sell auto, home, renters, life, and health insurance
Conduct outbound follow-ups and warm leads (no cold calling lists)
Cross-sell and bundle policies to better protect customers
Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up activity
Participate in ongoing sales training and coaching

Strong communication and people skills
Self-motivated with a competitive mindset
Coachable and open to feedback
Organized and reliable
Prior sales or customer service experience preferred (not required)
Insurance experience is a plus — but we will train the right person regardless of experience
