Job Description

Be the go-to expert keeping our production lines running

Picture a typical day: you arrive, review overnight maintenance logs, and jump into diagnosing a stubborn production fault using schematics, manuals, and drawings. You isolate an electro-mechanical issue, swap in the right part from the storeroom (following withdrawal and return procedures), document the repair in our ERP, and coach a teammate on preventive steps to avoid a repeat. By afternoon, you’re executing preventive maintenance, tuning a drive, and closing out work orders to ISO-compliant standards—all while keeping the area orderly and safe.

What you'll tackle
  • Diagnose and repair production and plant equipment with minimal supervision using provided documentation.
  • Troubleshoot electro-mechanical and electrical problems; apply robust preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Identify faulty components and create accurate requisitions with correct nomenclature for spares/replacements.
  • Navigate storerooms confidently and follow all withdrawal/return protocols.
  • Apply general machine shop knowledge; operate basic machine shop equipment and standard hand tools.
  • Maintain required records and follow established maintenance procedures within the ERP and related systems.
  • Model team-oriented behavior; lead co-workers on assigned tasks when needed.
  • Keep the workspace clean and safe; complete shift-specific duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support uptime and reliability.
Technical competencies
  • Administrative: Accurately post data between sources in ERP or peripheral software.
  • Communication & Teamwork: Collaborate effectively across functions; foster openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork; handle multiple priorities while staying composed.
  • Safety: Understand and actively participate in all company safety programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Quality: Build and sustain processes that align with ISO requirements.
  • Technical Knowledge: Demonstrate advanced, end-to-end process understanding—from concept through commercialization.
  • Operate Equipment: Safely run motorized and peripheral equipment; utilize standard hand tools and basic machine shop equipment.
  • Maintenance/Repair: Exhibit advanced mechanical aptitude and a thorough grasp of production methods, procedures, and equipment capabilities in manufacturing environments.
Education & experience
  • 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma/equivalent required; vocational/trade education in electro-mechanical coursework preferred.
  • Mechanical pre-test required prior to employment.
  • Ability to read and use precision instruments (micrometers, calipers).
  • Clear speaking/presentation skills to lead effective meetings.
  • Must pass a multiple-choice test with a handwritten section.
Core proficiencies
  • 120/208/240/480 Voltage Systems
  • Electrical Troubleshooting
  • Electrical Repair
