Job Summary:

The Human Resources Intern supports our Human Resources and Administrative Department by assisting with accurate employee data maintenance in the HRIS, learning and supporting recruiting and interview coordination, and helping update and quality-control HR and administrative processes. This position provides hands-on exposure to core HR operations while contributing to efficient, consistent, and compliant people practices.

Job Description:

• Assist with updating and maintaining employee data in the HRIS, including routine changes and record updates.
• Help review employee records for completeness and accuracy, flag discrepancies for correction.
• Learn and assist with recruiting activities, including job posting updates, candidate tracking, and interview scheduling/coordination.
• Support candidate communications as directed (e.g., scheduling confirmations, follow-up emails), helping ensure a professional candidate experience.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining HR documentation and records in accordance with confidentiality and retention guidelines.
• Help update, standardize, and quality-control HR and administrative processes (e.g., checklists, templates, SOPs) to improve consistency and reduce errors.
• Provide general HR administrative support as assigned (e.g., compiling information for reports, document preparation, filing).

Qualification/Certifications/Requirements:

• Currently or previously enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience/interest).
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation/ability to work scheduled hours (as applicable to your workplace).
