E-Commerce Shipper

Part-Time 20 hours/week

M-F 10a-2p

$13.00/hour

Job Summary

The E-commerce Shipper supports online sales operations by preparing, packaging, and shipping orders accurately and safely. This role involves creating shipping labels through E-commerce platforms, organizing incoming items into designated areas, and using a smartphone to locate and pick merchandise. The E-commerce Shipper maintains a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficient listing and fulfillment processes, while performing additional tasks as assigned to support overall department productivity.

Essential Functions
  • Pack and ship items sold in E-commerce ensuring items can be delivered safely.
  • Working with E-commerce platforms to create address labels for outgoing packages.
  • Handle different items that come into E-commerce and be able to organize it into proper areas.
  • Use smartphone to pick items.
  • Ensure the E-commerce workspace is clean and organized to allow Listers to maintain continuous productivity.
  • Perform Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

Specific:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Intermediate computer skills with a functional knowledge of word processing, how to use email, and internet software.
  • Must be able to read and write.
  • Must be able to function independently in a work setting.

General:

  • Must maintain consistent, predictable, and satisfactory attendance and punctuality as scheduled
  • Must be able to demonstrate upon request functional literacy and numeracy.
  • Must have command of the English language sufficient to verbally communicate with the general public.
  • Must provide proof of identification and eligibility to work in the United State of America.
Education and Experience
  • No minimum education required, previous work experience preferred
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
Physical Requirements

These work environment factors are general in nature: CONSTANT: Stand, walk, sit for long periods of time, and near vision. FREQUENT: Bend neck; talk/speak; and visual accommodation. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
