Accountant (AP Focused)

Position Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join a collaborative accounting team. This role will primarily focus on Accounts Payable responsibilities while supporting general accounting functions and month-end activities. Ideal for someone early in their accounting career looking for growth and stability within a professional, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable
• Review invoices, coding, approvals, and payment processing
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with month-end close activities and account reconciliations
• Support general ledger and day-to-day accounting functions
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 1+ years of accounting experience required
• AP experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Stable work history required

Additional Details

• Reports directly to the Controller
• Hybrid schedule with in-office requirements Tuesday–Thursday
• Flexible start/end times available
