Accountant Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Accountant to join our team in Buffalo, NY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing comprehensive financial analyses and contributing to the preparation of various corporate financial statements. This role requires a proactive professional capable of supporting SEC filings and executing account reconciliations, trend analyses, and forecasting activities with precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough financial analyses to assist in the preparation of corporate financial statements.
• Support the preparation and submission of SEC filings.
• Perform account reconciliations, trend analysis, and forecasting tasks.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Accounting Information Systems.
• 3-5 years of desirable experience in public accounting.
• Graduate degree, CPA, and/or CIA certification preferred.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, consolidations, and reporting.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting/auditing practices, principles, and procedures.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
